Surface technology all gathered here. Come, see, ask!
Three days of direct consultation with plating professionals!
The Plating Pavilion (formerly the Surface Treatment Concept Zone) brings together plating expert companies with many years of experience and know-how, as well as the equipment and material manufacturers that support them. A wide range of technologies will be introduced, from the latest plating technologies that are essential for improving functionality in cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors and electronic components, automobiles, aerospace, and medical equipment, to basic technologies that achieve appearances that combine beauty and strength, and outstanding rust prevention.
Please bring us your specific issues and concerns, such as "I want to solve a product performance issue" or "I'm looking for an environmentally friendly surface treatment." Our plating professionals will meet your needs with the best solution and technical knowledge. This is the place for business negotiations and technical consultations!

In recent years, the circular economy (CE) has been advocated mainly in Europe. The transition to a CE is also essential to achieving carbon neutrality (CN), and surface treatment technologies such as coating for worn or damaged parts, as well as tribology evaluation technologies that contribute to extending the life of products and parts by reducing wear and tear, and to evaluating the reliability of recycled products, are expected to play an important role in the transition to a CE.
The first half of the seminar will feature lectures on surface treatment and tribology evaluation technologies that contribute to the realization of CE, and the second half will feature short presentations by companies dealing with technologies and products related to the evaluation and measurement of tribological properties. After the seminar, there will be an opportunity for participants to exchange business cards and information.

Tribological properties are closely related to the durability and reliability of mechanical products and the energy efficiency of mechanical systems, and surface modification technology that improves tribological properties is essential for increasing the added value of products in manufacturing. In this corner, we will introduce companies that handle technologies and products related to the evaluation and measurement of tribological properties through panels and video exhibits.
