Come! Look! Ask! Our plating experts will answer your questions.
The Surface Treatment Concept Zone at SURTECH2025 will introduce various surface treatment technologies, including plating. From cutting-edge technologies that pursue functionality for semiconductors and electronic components, automobiles, aerospace, and medical applications, to traditional technologies such as appearance and rust prevention that create beauty and strength on surfaces, companies and equipment manufacturers that provide high-quality, sustainable surface technologies will gather together using know-how accumulated over many years. Are there any issues with your products? Companies with the knowledge and track record will respond to your needs. We are also happy to provide technical consultations!

Tribology plays an important role in realizing carbon neutrality (CN), but in order to make further contributions, three (Tri) activities called Tribo-Transformation (Trix) are important: (1) fundamental elucidation and deepening of understanding of tribological phenomena, (2) fusion and systematization of explicit knowledge and experiential knowledge, and (3) visualization of outcomes through social implementation.
The first half of the seminar will feature lectures on the themes of "Tribological Transformation" and "Circular Economy and Tribology," a concept that has been advocated mainly in Europe in recent years. In the second half, there will be short presentations by companies dealing with technologies and products related to the evaluation and measurement of tribological properties, which are closely related to improving the durability and reliability of mechanical products and the energy efficiency of mechanical systems. After the seminar, there will be an opportunity for participants to exchange business cards and information.

Tribological properties play a major role in improving the durability and reliability of mechanical products and the energy efficiency of mechanical systems, and surface modification technology that improves tribological properties is essential for adding value to products in the manufacturing industry. In this corner, we will introduce companies that handle technologies and products related to the evaluation and measurement of tribological properties through panels and video exhibits.
In addition, we will continue to hold the Tribology Consultation Corner, which was well received last year.
